Coincidental Culmination?

By a combination of unrelated events, I was able to install Windows 8.1 build 9600 along with LG full pc suite with remote access, directv2pc, 2X  rdp  client and host, geniego, sql server 2013 r2,  dtcpip advisor, LG United drive,  and a few more fun things. So here is the deal.
My lgg2 came with software that allows one to control their connected computer. The update is supposed to remove it. I kept it and repaired it and activated it. U.S. wasn't a choice in setup. I chose Australia. Done. Set up laptop and I can use my LG to run my laptop including complete access to hard drive and processors.      Issues arise. I needed 2x rdp host in my laptop. In my research trying to get this to work I came across geniego for pc. Didn't work.  Well, when I signed my New 2 yr agreement 1.5 yrs ago, I was supposed to have access to my dvr anywhere. Nope, told me tough crap. Found neat directv2pc program. Didn't work. I needed dtcpip. Not easy to get, but done.
Still need 2x rdp and good to go. Leave laptop at home, full access to hard drive and processors plus a bonus, watch dvr anywhere along with dnla, on any hdtv. 2x host only works on server 2008 r2 and 12. Very expensive. Everywhere I looked, every blog, windows tech center research, everyone said I cannot get 2x server on my laptop. 7 hours of reading tech manuals and such, I am ready to throw in towel. I get a popup. It offers me 8.1 enterprise with server 8r2 and 12 sql and web hosting and every possible platform for web design and hosting I have heard of. Including azure and. .net hosting free.
What, say no, check for bugs, it says Microsoft!! I allowed them to watch me the entire time. That window you minimize until you close your browser, the one that asks you if it would be o.k. if they Track my search habits, I said yes and let them watch the whole thing!!  Download now baby, 4 hours and 6 gig of compressed data later, things are amazing. I have a AMD dual-core 2.7ghz with 8gig of ram and 1t hard drive smoothly running the best Microsoft software available to anyone. [attachment=7056]

Well, my LG software is running through a server in Australia. Problem with that is it keeps changing my clock time zone. Not a big deal. End process, set time.
My dvrs are looking completely different on my network. Windows media and cyberlink are installing codecs to play it all. Even directv sends me the activation code to turn it all on. R u kidding?  People that have had the software for years can't get activation codes on there New computers after upgrading hardware.  Cool. Coming together.

So, all this that can't be done is right here in front of me. Lets see how it works. I am not a IT pro, I am a car salesman that is ready for something new. After 25 years slinging metal, I am The Boy with the Golden Ticket. I cannot explain or express in words how on top of the world I feel. No sleep at all and it's 9:30 the 21st. My laptop started the download at 11 pm the 19th and I got up that morning at 7:00. Oh yea, 4 hour nap. But I could not stop, too close.
I have to go to work soon. No problem, I have 2 dvrs and a genie, my new server is indexing and creating playlist. Lets just make sure everything else works. Yep, LG software logs on and password works.  Codecs are integrated. Directv2pc has to run in compatibility mode for Windows 7. No problem. The processor is constantly hitting over 3ghz with out the accelerator engaged. When I get home, it'll be ready to go.
Not so much. Its dead. Screan is on, stuck in some loop. Power button not effective.
Hard boot. Windows will not load.
Here is my thouhts after 3 days of research. The LG software is not supposed to be on my phone.  By registering with there server in Australia, I am now surfing the web from Australia. Microsoft thinks I am smarter than I am, and want to sell me there web hosting and management services. I was wondering why my first 10 websites were free. And my directv2pc software is adding yet another operating system to the burden on bios and processor. So now I am in my living room in Michigan, with my LG phone logged in to a server in Australia, running android, connected to a laptop On a network communicating with 3 dvrs running a total of nine tuners plus 2 i5cs,  another Android, a dnlr tv, and a Windows 7 desktop allowing both in and out media service.  My laptop is running 8.1 enterprise, 8.1 server rt, sql server 2012, and emulating Windows 7.  My laptop is the only one that crashed. I have rolled back the bios, tried 4 previous restore points.  Not yet. It appears that my Windows is legit and came from Microsoft just was not intended for a US resident.  My hard drive is split in at least 4. My hardware has passed every test I have available. I am able to get a command window and with my very little little memory of DOS from 25 years ago, everything appears to be in place. I could give 2 shits about my dvrs or LG interfaces but I really, really want to keep my 8.1 build 9600. Help?
